I know.. I know… where have I been!? Please give me a chance to explain…
After I launched my website redesign in November, I was not 100% happy with the outcome of it. This was very hard to come to terms with after putting so much time and effort into the site – I tried so hard to love it but I just couldn’t. After a brief period of feeling so sad for myself, I got back up and started to look for options to fix it. It took a bit of time to get the re-design-of-the-re-design rolling but I am finally done and so happy with my site! It reflects my style and is much more functional than it ever was! Although, I am a total perfectionist Kurvies so I will always be constantly tweaking it to make it even better for you!
Next, my worst nightmare happened. In the middle of making the changes to my website, it was hacked. The site was redirecting people to spammy pages and eventually the screen went blank. Mass hysteria and panic ensued… you would have NOT wanted to see me that day! I was so devastated but thankfully I found some angels to fix it! I kept trying to remind myself “what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger” and I persevered and got myself and the website back together. During this time I received many emails filled with concern from those of you who noticed the hack… these messages were so appreciated and kept me going – I just love you all so much!
Pair all of that with a bad case of the winter blues and there you will find me… feeling frustrated and hopeless. For those of you who do not live in a wintery part of the world like Canada, the winter blues are a serious and awful thing!
I have to give thanks to my family, friends and foremost all of you, my Kurvies, for keeping me inspired and focused to continue my journey in the plus size world – even when I felt like curling up in a ball and giving up!
I apologize from the bottom of my heart for going MIA on you all and I really hope that you can understand – I love and appreciate you all so so much!
I am so glad to be back and I can look back at this not as a failure, but as a learning experience where I succeeded in finding what didn’t work!
Now if you will excuse me, I have a bazillion blog posts to catch up on! :)
P.S. If you are ever looking for me you can find me on my instagram @killer_kurves where I update frequently.
